Repair or retile?

If the tiles are sound and well fixed, regrouting and resealing is often all a bathroom needs. If tiles are loose or water has got behind them, it's better to know that before spending money on the surface. You'll get a straight answer either way.

Done properly

Old grout is raked out to a proper depth before new grout goes in, and old silicone is fully removed before resealing, so the repair lasts rather than lifting in a few months.

    The layout is planned before a tile goes down, so the cuts land where you won't see them.

  3. Prepare

    Surfaces made flat and sound, and wet areas waterproofed. The part that decides how long it lasts.

  4. Tile & tidy

    Tiled, grouted and finished, with the room cleared up at the end of every day.

Is it worth regrouting instead of retiling?

Often, yes. If the tiles are sound, fresh grout and new sealant can transform a bathroom for a fraction of the cost of retiling.

Can you replace a single cracked tile?

Usually, if you have a spare tile or a close match can be found. The damaged tile is cut out carefully so the tiles around it aren't disturbed.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. Regrouting, repairs and small rooms are welcome.
