How Mark works
The person who quotes is the person who tiles.
Mark works on his own for most jobs, so there's no handing over to someone you've never met. On bigger jobs he brings in an experienced team and runs it himself.
Setting out comes first
Before a tile goes down, the layout is planned around the room: where the joints meet the bath, the window and the doorway. Customers notice it. One said the setting out alone was worth the money.
Tidy, every day
Dust sheets down, and the room cleared up at the end of each day. It comes up in review after review.
Large format, specialist trained
Mark fits porcelain slabs up to 2.8 × 1.2 metres, and is one of only a handful of tilers in Devon who do, working alongside the two specialists who trained him. More about large-format tiling.

Surfaces made flat and sound, and wet areas waterproofed. The part that decides how long it lasts.
Tile & tidy
Tiled, grouted and finished, with the room cleared up at the end of every day.
