How long does a splashback take?

Most splashbacks are a short job, often a day or less, depending on size and how many cuts there are. You'll get a clear timescale with your quote.

Which tiles are easiest to keep clean behind a hob?

Glazed ceramic or porcelain with narrow grout joints. A darker or stain-resistant grout makes a big difference behind a hob.

Can you tile the floor as well?

Yes. Kitchen floors are one of the most common jobs, and the floor can be done at the same time as the walls.
